  Stayed here with family for a memorial service. We stayed in the house next to the hotel. The house has not been updated since the early 70s and the living room features a broken tanning bed upon entering the house. Next to the broken tanning bed there was a dead mouse. We were scolded for letting another family member's visiting dog in the house to drink some water. I am not exaggerating when I say that there is nothing in the house that this dog could have ruined, given the state of the house. On top of this, there were two dogs in the adjacent restaurant, one of which was coming in and out of the kitchen. The irony of this was lost on the owner of the lodge.

  This is the magic cabin hidden in the woods that will make you feel like your home . well worth the ride on the dirt road. Two of the nicest people you would ever want to meet . Home made food ,comfortable rooms and excellent drinks watch the humming birds from your table. well worth the trip .

  Food was good, a good variety of styles ranging from burgers to lasagna to tuna steaks. The kind of prices you're expect from a restaurant that has little competition surrounding it. Staff was very pleasant.
